Minerva Educational and Welfare Society is a grass root not – for – profit organization, working with the rural population of the Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Nadia, Murshidabad districts of West Bengal.

Minerva Educational and Welfare Society was formally registered in the year 1993.

Since its inception, Minerva Educational and Welfare Society has intervened through programs for strengthening and empowering rural youth, women and children, elected women representatives, migrant labourers and the community at large.

Minerva Educational and Welfare Society began its work from the Panskura, Paschim Medinipur, which has some of the poorest social and demographic indicators in the state.In near future, Minerva Educational and Welfare Society is planning to expand its area of work to adjoining four districts working across issues of health, education, employment, skill development, migration and informed participation of the community in democratic processes.
